Analysis of GPS and Tracking Devices

Section A | A Problem and the potential users

A problem with GPS and Tracking devices is for companies and people to know your whereabouts, potential users of this issue could be young people that are alone or even people with important statuses.
Ways to collect data for analysis would be to use a form, there could be flyers but a form that constantly updates graphs would be the best way to address this.

Section B | Emerging Technologies and problems with it

The emerging technology that I am investigating is Tracking devices and GPS, I’m investigating this issue because in recent years, GPS and tracking devices like the Apple Air tag have been used for malicious purposes,
this issue needs to be addressed and dealt with accordingly.

Section C | Characteristics of the emerging technology

The characteristics of GPS and Tracking devices are that they can be cheap to buy, they give the person the ability to find items and also helps you navigate to different areas without the need to remember extensive maps of places

Section D | Methods for collecting data

Methods for collecting data for analysis regarding GPS and tracking devices include tv ads, newspaper ads , social media ads and radio ads.

Section E | Constraints faced with collecting data

2 Constraints faced when collecting data for analysis include the demographic of the people, for a more accurate set of data, people from the age of 18 onwards is preferred. And also people willing to give up info could be a massive headache.

Section F | Impacts of current technologies

The impact of current and emerging technologies regarding physical human interactions and interpersonal skills means that devices like tracking devices and GPS devices are becoming more of a readily adopted item, as they are becoming more integrated into peoples life as an essential tool rather than a gimmick or something that might just fall of in a few years time. Methods for collecting data for analysis regarding GPS and tracking devices include tv ads, newspaper ads , social media ads and radio ads.
